The practice has had an active involvement in the Thornton based research site from 1992-2009. The team have undertaken a broad scope of development which includes masterplan development, major site redevelopment, and Landscape and Term Contract Development.
Works undertaken include the phased redevelopment of the Research Centre site. A modular design comprising of four laboratory blocks linked to a spine development contain shared facilities of meeting rooms, tea and refreshment areas, as well as management and general administration offices.
Other research based projects on the site have included a Chassis Dynamometer Facility, Pilot Plant, Optical Engine Laboratory and a Sulphur Asphalt R&D Facility.
