UClan Veterinary School

This technically complex and detailed project represents a significant milestone and will bring substantial value.

The design prioritized longevity and adaptability, enabling the building to evolve with future needs. Striking exterior cladding lends the structure a bold visual presence, further elevated by the elegant landscape gardening that surrounds the site

This state-of-the-art teaching facility features world-class clinical simulation spaces, including a diagnostic suite, simulated operating theatres, and cutting-edge technology. It will be home to the second veterinary school in the North of England and the first in Lancashire.

This prominent addition to UCLan’s higher education buildings will support a range of vocational courses and, with its modern animal facilities, will meet the growing demand for veterinary medicine education. As the veterinary field remains oversubscribed (RCVS), the new school will offer both local and national opportunities for students to access much-needed training in this rewarding profession.

Designed with the highest standards in mind, the building will offer exceptional teaching and learning spaces that support UCLan’s flagship 5-year Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVMS) program.
