RIBA Mentorship Program
Today we completed a day in the life of an architect.
Thanks to Lancaster University for allowing us to visit a number of recently completed projects. We started the day with a visit to Wilson Mason’s Samlesbury office to discuss CVs, portfolio structure and office life. We then had a site visit to Lancaster University to visit Confucius Institute, LEC Atrium, Digital Screen and ended by looking ahead at the works to Edwards Robert Court.
The Mentorship Program from RIBA North West provides a great opportunity for architectural practices to give students an insight into what being an architect means day to day and puts into context why certain elements of the architectural education system are structured as they are.
Congratulations Negin, Ella and Andrew and good luck for the rest of the academic year.
