New research and development laboratory to support the production of high grade Silicas. Scope included the development of departmental laboratory accommodation for a variety of functions including Silicas Absorbents, Quality Assurance, Central Analytical Department, Personal Care, Research and Brewing. The shared accommodation including library, meeting rooms, conference facilities and cellular offices were developed to form a land mark “Drum” to revitalise the site.
